Our first original design was inspired by a Byrd who was eight miles high-on-ego at the Monterey International Pop Festival 1967. During what would be one of his last performances with his group, he shouts these words into a microphone before playing a loose version of Hey Joe, and rambling about the assassination of JFK... This is your country ladies and gentleman, and your mother gets high and you don't know it.
